Providing accommodation for 393 students, Brunel Court comprises a series of private self contained apartments.
All bedrooms are fully furnished, en-suite and larger than normal and include:
For those who prefer to be more self contained, we are able to offer a limited number of fully self contained studio apartments.
Each of these studios have all of the equipment provided in a standard bedroom with en-suite, but also include the following:

At Brunel Court we are fortunate to have extensive facilities to enhance your experience whilst staying with us.
The onsite team are continuing to develop group functions and events to encourage community spirit with the halls.
A large common room/games room is provided to the ground floor adjacent to the reception. This includes pool table and table football and provides a focal point for occupants of Brunel Court to meet and socialise.
A substantial amount of car parking is available on site, in the secure compound. These spaces are optionally available for a small charge. For security purposes this car park access is electronically controlled.
A number of cycle racks and shelters are provided to enable safe and secure housing for cycles.
Vending machines dispensing snacks and drinks are available in the reception area for all tenants.
A modern laundrette is provided on site with coin operated washing machines and driers.
A well equipped gymnasium is available for sole use of residents at no extra charge.
We realise that the security of all residents is of tremendous importance.
We have therefore designed the building with this in mind and have a very secure compound, controlled by electronic card swipes.
CCTV is provided and a 24 hour presence is maintained on site.
At Brunel Court we are fortunate to have a large garden area with grassed areas. Having such an area to relax in on warm days is most unusual for city centre developments and remains one of our most popular features.
Located across the road from the University Campus on Marsh Lane, the building is immediately adjacent to an Aldi supermarket.
Directly across Ringway is the town centre & railway station.

A UK based guarantor is required for tenancies. This is usually a parent or guardian. Overseas students who cannot provide a UK based guarantor are unable to pay the rent in instalments.
At Brunel Court, our tenancies run for 42 weeks. Should you wish to extend your stay, this is possible and contact with management should be made as early as you know your need to stay on.
We usually request post dated cheques, which we will hold on your behalf until the due date. Alternatively a direct debit may be arranged or a credit card payment can be made.
Provided you advise us at the time of booking and we have availability, we will always try and accommodate such request.
No, we don't require a deposit, but any damages found at the end of the tenancy would be invoiced to you/your guarantor.
No, the contract is binding, so you must be comfortable with it before you sign it. Notwithstanding this, should you find a suitable successor for your room, we would be happy to assign the contract. We will always help to try to find someone to take over your tenancy in these circumstances.
No, your rent covers all power, heating and water charges.
Yes, a new 20MB hardwired service is installed, and wifi is also to be maintained. The service includes internet tv and skpe, and the size of service may be increased to up to 100MB subject to extra charge.
Yes but only subject to availability, although this is generally not a problem. Additional rent would be payable pro rata on how early you would want to move in.
Yes, if you own a TV you would be responsible for obtaining and paying for a television license. Further clarification is available from www.tvlicencing.co.uk
There is a limited number of parking spaces available on site at an additional cost. Should you need a space, please book one when making your reservation.
Often students are covered by their parent's household insurance. We would always advise on cover being taken out independently, however, and great rates have been negotiated with the following providers; Endsleigh.co.uk Cover4students.com.
Yes during the day our management and maintenance team is on site and throughout the evening and night there is full time security. The building is extensively covered by CCTV to further enhance security.
Yes there is a fire alarm and emergency lighting is fitted throughout the property and is tested every week. Fire drills are undertaken at the start of the year and we liaise closely with the local fire brigade to hold welcome meetings to discuss fire safety and emergency procedure with our tenants.
We have dedicated mail boxes for you at reception and reception staff are happy to accept parcels for you. Collections can be made for you during the working day.
No, you are responsible for the cleaning of your own room and tenants who share living rooms and kitchens are jointly responsibility for keeping these shared areas clean. We clean corridors, stairs, common areas, gym etc.
No. Normally – students usually bring their own. This is something we can assist with if help is needed however.
No – you can come in whenever you wish.
